Personal Chef Kerry Montgomery earned his living as a lawyer for over a quarter of a century, but his real passion was always to be found in the kitchen. From his early 20’s onward, after his family, cooking was Kerry’s first love, his creative outlet and his major source of recreation and personal fulfillment.

Between clients and contracts, Kerry cooked continuously for family and friends, catered private parties, luncheons and dinners for individuals and organizations and ultimately hung up his shingle for good and became a professional cook. His very first outing found him preparing delicious meals for 125 honored citizens at an up-scale retirement residence. Today he has found his niche, creating intriguing and healthful dishes for his personal chef clientele, emphasizing classic, down-home American food along with Italian, Mexican and other ethnically inspired fare. Kerry also offers friendly and relaxed cooking lessons to anyone eager to learn the way around the kitchen and he continues to grow daily in his knowledge of the art and science of good food.

For Kerry, food is about life - and life is about food.
